Tesla Rumored To Begin Mass Production Of Facelift Model 3 In China In September

News about the facelifted Tesla Model 3 has come out from time to time. Some Chinese media quoted sources as saying that the revised Model 3 will start mass production at the Tesla Gigafactory in Shanghai in September, and production is expected to start in China on September 30.

During the National Day holiday, the number gradually increased. The source also revealed that Tesla is currently producing a demonstration vehicle and has reached the final stage.

This batch of remodeled Model 3s for display is expected to be gradually shipped to Tesla showrooms around the world before the end of August. At the same time, Tesla has started a new round of price reductions for some existing models.

A person familiar with the matter revealed to the Chinese media that both the exterior design and the internal components of the facelifted Model 3 have changed, making the whole body more able to keep up with the trend and become more fashionable. After all, the Model 3 was launched in 2017, and so far there have been six year.

Shipments at Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory fell 31% in July to its lowest level this year; Tesla announced at the time that global production would decline in the third quarter due to shutdowns for factory upgrades.

It is said that this is Tesla’s preparation for the launch of the facelifted Model 3. When the new car reaches its maximum production capacity, the overall cost will be lower than the current version.
